This is truly the best local guided tour in Tokyo’s most famed and coveted neighborhood, Nakameguro. Nakameguro may be most famous for its gorgeous cherry blossom lined river, but year round this area is bustling with hip cafes, hidden local gems, and amazing food.
As we explore the neighborhood, you will learn about the history of the area and get an insider point of view, showing you all the best secret spots hiding along the river. Enjoy anything from taiyaki, to fruit sandwiches, black sesame ice cream, artisanal pudding, third wave coffee, baked goods, craft beer and more! The tour begins promptly at 11 am. We will then explore the local third wave coffee scene, hidden bakeries and other boutique vendors. Eventually we make our way to the famous Meguro River, where we can enjoy other delicious treats. Time permitting, we will head to a historical Japanese mansion built over 100 years ago. After which, we will sit down for a local lunch and make our way towards a sky garden over looking the city.
