Hakone is a great visit and definitely one of my all-time day trips from Tokyo. It’s a small adventure where you can go up into the mountains, see volcanic gasses up close and then cruise over a big lake while seeing the great MT. Fuji in the background. This pass makes traveling around Hakone very easy without having to worry about where to get tickets and you can just hop on from one transfer to the other.
